Wiesner
David Wiesner grew up in suburban New Jersey. Growing up he was known as the kid who could draw. David Wiesner was born February 5, 1956. He was the youngest of five children.
David lives in Philadelphia with his wife Kim and two children, Kevin and Jaime. David’s family goes to the Jersey Shore during the summer. David’s won three Caldecott Awards for Three Pigs, Flotsam and Tuesday! David likes art, drawing and dinosaurs.
Sometimes David does not use words in his stories. His writing style is visual storytelling and fantasy. He likes to use water color when he illustrates. David Wiesner writes about the unexpected.
David Wiesner is a great illustrator and author. His books are really good and eye popping.
